Keynote Address by Dr. Arumugam. S
Dr. Arumugam. S, Senior Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and Director – Chennai Ortho, delivered the keynote address titled “Robotics – Surgical Precision.”
In his talk, Dr. Arumugam. S traced the evolution of surgery from open procedures to robotic-assisted systems, emphasizing the importance of precision, collaboration, and compassion in modern healthcare. He encouraged engineering students to see themselves as future healers whose innovations can transform patient outcomes.
